Spain: Good and Lucky...

In the World Cup, you gotta be good. But that's not enough: you also gotta be lucky. Today, Spain were both exquisitely good and very lucky.

Still, I'm not letting my guard down. Part of Spain's special knack for choking is to raise expectations with a spectacular performance like today's only to throw it all away in a really dumb way...

ka,

I have been looking all week and haven't found a thing. The best I could do is the live matchcast at the official fifa site which consists of text play by play and commentary instantly and continuously updated. You can find that here:

http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/index.html

Just click on the "Live" button next to the match.

The BBC has live streaming audio but it is only available to UK users.

You can also try this site which gives a good overview of the internet coverage available to see if something works for you:

Good luck.

Brazil could easily have lost against Croatia yesterday and I, for one, was not impressed at all considering the high expectation generated in the press in Vzla.

Best team so farbased on first games - probably Czech Republic.

oh, but they are! Do a little research and you can get the games free over the net. Try www.ghacks.com for starters.

Lovely game by Spain today. Just dazzling.

ka, I just found out that the Sun (UK) is streaming audio in English for all games, Live World Cup Radio. The link seems to work for me in the US.
